About

I’m a climate psychologist, activist, communicator, educator, consultant and writer with a background in both social and environmental sciences.

I have worked with a number of organisations and am currently the Director of Research at climate communications initiative New Zero World, with a focus on youth engagement and using creativity for good. I am also a writer and educator with a focus on overcoming climate anxiety and taking meaningful action. I have published research on the effects of the climate crisis on mental health, and taught on the subject in schools, universities and companies. I have previously worked in climate policy where I co-published research on carbon markets.

Having grown up in one of the most polluted areas of Europe, I have always had a keen awareness of environmental injustice and the mental health effects of disconnect from nature. With my writing, I am hoping to make these issues more accessible and amplify those who are often left out of news stories, and therefore public consciousness.

Climate change communication is at the heart of my work. I regularly speak on panels, events and podcasts about how we can talk about environmental issues in a more effective and inclusive way, and have given a TEDx talk on the topic. I am an advisor to the HERO, a platform raising funds for climate activists, and sit on the Ecologi climate committee. My focus as a campaigner is on a rapid and just fossil fuel phase out, and I’m a champion for the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty initiative.

I am open to writing commissions, research projects in the area of climate, social and behavioural science, public speaking and educational work, and ethical brand partnerships via Instagram.
